A number of them don’t even need to be textures. Simple colors would do the job just fine. There are some duplicates. Consolidating them would help. I resized the largest 68 of them.
That cleanup reduced the file size by 34%.
There are a lot of incorrectly oriented faces which could impact your renders. There should be no exposed blue back faces. Applying materials to them doesn’t fix the orientation.
Before you start your next SketchUp model you should spend some time learning how to keep your models clean and light. It’ll go a long way toward preventing panicked last minute requests for help.
The file is still ridiculously huge but maybe you can open it now. I’ll upload it and share the link when it is finished. Note, I’ve set the face style to Monochrome and turned off edges to make it so your graphics card is more likely to be able to display it. The textures are still there.
That first line. Over 233 million edges in those thirteen instances! It works out to almost 18,000,000 edges per instance. Totally inneccesary. Over 4 million edges in the next one. More liability than asset in your model, I’m afraid.
Unfortunately without stripping content out of you model there’s nothing more I can do with it. Maybe @colin has some magic he can try that will help your computer handle the file. That is, if he is available.
I stripped out those ridiculously obese Pulmeria components along with the Ficus Microcarpa components and purged them from the file. It reduced it another roughly 10%. Maybe that will help. The next thing I would do is remove every last plant component from the model. You probably would rather not have to redo the plants, though.
also, this is a thread about working from home during a quarantine, in the corner bar, not a “help, my file is bloated” thread. please learn to use the forum, and understand the different categories.
I think @colin or @TheOnlyAaron have the powers to split the part of this topic that is about @ah00doit 's model to its own topic and assign it to a suitable category.
