I was close to finishing my kitchen design when suddenly it disappeared. undo did not work. I’ve tried un-hiding “All” and a few other things, but it’s still showing completely blank. I am trying the free (web) version so the export option is disabled.
My “Recent Files” in “Home” still shows the design is 2.1mb. When I open the file and then choose the option to return to home I get a pop-up which offers to “Purge unused items” - which I have NOT chosen for fear of permanently deleting everything.
OMG, thank you so much! I clicked the Magnifying Glass to use the search tool, entered “Zoom Extents” and clicked on it and “Boom” there it was! In my defense, I had tried zooming and changing “Scenes”, but to no avail.
Camera changes such as zoom are not “undoable events”, so it is usually necessary to use things like zoom extents or saved scenes to recover when the camera swoops to outer space. By its nature, parallel projection is more vulnerable to these issues than perspective.
