Healing AutoCAD faces - help!

Hi. I’m working on a project from a rather large AutoCAD file. I have been trying to run faces like I normally do. I’ve run several extensions including Make Faces, but the majority of the file remains vacant of faces. This is a pretty large project, and I don’t think I’ll have time to go through and redo every single line - can anyone give me some advice on how to make a lot of faces quickly? Help!

It sounds like you probably have gaps in the loops. Maybe Close Opens from Smustard.com will take care of it for you?

Or Thomthom’s Edge tools.

Smustard’s Stray Lines label feature will help you determine how many gaps you will have to fix.

Yeah, I have the Smustard close open line segments, didn’t do too much. I tried installing the Edge tools but I can’t seem to open it up the toolset once it’s installed.

Did you also install required thomthom’s Lib ?
And of course read the instructions…
