Geo-Location Map issues

I have just used the updated Geo-Location tool, and I can’t get a satellite image with it. Why?

Are you using SketchUp Make? If so, as of a few days ago, terrain and imagery are no longer available. Only Map views in SU Make.

Understood although it was announced back in March. You can read about the change here.

When I saw the announcement, I thought this was just one of the features being added.

I guess that’s one way to look at it.

We didn’t have a way like this to get maps into SketchUp before this change.
