I have been ranting against all caps text all the time since we switched from stencilled lettering to computers. Creating stylish drawings is totally possible with standard case.

  • in the world of the Internet all caps use is considered rude
  • all caps is used by a person that quite a big portion of people love to hate
  • typography has been researched, and standard case has been proved to be easiest for the eyes and most efficient to read
  • drafting standards require standard case

Thans Anssi. I use a mix of lowercase (titles) and uppercase (notes) fonts. As noted, when builder plot out A1s @A3. the text is 50% smaller and lowercase almost impossible to read.
As for uppercase being considered rude, well, I guess Kiwis don’t get upset about such things.
