Fix 3D model files

Imported STL file and cannot fix problems. 2024 here is file

The model is tiny and you’re running into the tiny faces issue. Start over. When you import the .stl file, choose Meters in the Import Options panel. That should go a long way toward helping. If the object isn’t solid after that, upload it here.

FWIW, leave your model scaled up to meters and when you export the .stl again, make sure the Export units are Meters.

I did import it in meters the first time

It doesn’t look like it based on the dimensions of the thing.

Share the .stl file.

OK I imported as meters and it worked, but how do I get it back to the right scale?

Are you going to 3D print it after you make whatever changes you have in mind? If so, there’s no need to scale it down. Simply export the .stl with the export units set to meters. The .stl will import into the slicer as millimeters.
