File will not save and I can't download

Hello. I am using sketch up for web free. I have designed a house, with furniture and landscaping. I know the file will be big. I’m having trouble saving the file, and i also cannot download the file. I’ve read how to purge unused components, which i have always done when saving the file anyway (when prompted), but I dont seem to have the option to do that in the components section. Ive cleared my cache also. How can i reduce my file size so i can save my file. I want to do an upstairs yet, so I guess i’ll be doing that on a separate file  Any suggestions appreciated

Stop downloading everything you find in the 3D Warehouse. Delete what you’ve put into your model and Purge, then either model the components you need correctly (furniture, cars, vegetation, etc.) or look for some that are lowpoly.

Thank you. I didn’t need to do that. I cut off both the front landscaping, and back landscaping and saved them to seperate files.

So, you found another way to tackle the problem. Good for you.
Remember that it’s just a patch and you could be back in trouble before you know it..
Keeping your model under control (entity count wise) goes a long way..
Don’t stick your head in the sand but listen to good advice when given..

Doing the upstairs in a separate file isn’t a bad idea at all. many pros split large projects into sections (floors, landscaping, interior) to keep performance manageable.

Thank you for that Maorika
