Failed to open document after crash - need help recovering 55mb file

Hi @colin,

My laptop crashed due to a GPU TDR crash while working, and now my 55 MB SketchUp model won’t open. It gives the “Failed to open document” error. I tried renaming the .skb file as well, but it gives the same error.

The file is around 55 MB, so I couldn’t upload it directly here. Here is the Google Drive download link:

Could you please help me recover/repair this file? I would really appreciate your help!

The last part of the file contains nothing but zeroes which makes it unrecoverable. Presumably the .skb file has the same problem.

Where were you saving the file while working on it? Are you using a cr acked version of SketchUp? Did you save a backup to Trimble Connect?

FYI: Issues with Trimble Connect persist for the past 12 days.
