Something like this: I drew all the missing edges, I deleted the extra ones and the faces are formed after that.

Ahh I see! I definitely tried to do all of that but I am still not very experienced in using these extensions so I must have got it slightly wrong. I will try practising when I have not got a deadline!
But you have saved me as I am now able to continue my work with the filed you cleaned up for me. Thanks so much
