Example house template with lots of layers for each building component

Im looking for an example house where the layers are listed for each building element. doors walls ceiling roof tiles gutters windows etc . Is there an example available for download that anyone knows of as all my attempts top find one have not been successful.

You might have a poke through the 3D Warehouse. I suspect that any “real” SketchUp files showing the stuff you are asking for would be done for commercial projects and would be proprietary.

You might have a look at some of the books available for SketchUp and LayOut see if there are examples of layer naming conventions. Look for Nick Sonder’s and Matt Donley’s books.

You can also download a trial from Mike Brightman’s ConDoc Tools. He has reduced the number of Layers and convention of names which might be interesting for you, as well.
