Error when batch uploading

I get this error when doing a batch upload. Can somebody help?

Error: {“message”:“The specified value ‘[bot_st, bot_st_wp_ao_or45_studioviewstyle_skypartialclouds2kiblenvironment, bot_st_wp_ao_or315_studioviewstyle_skypartialclouds2kiblenvironment]’ is not of type ‘string’.”,“errorId”:“WRONG_VALUE_FOR_DATA_TYPE”}

So guessing this is how all the “spam” account upload loads of models over and over again, just like today viewing 3D warehouse models and many with no info’ like files sizes of 0 and not pic’ (page after page).
Just don’t understand how they don’t ban accounts that do this or at least have the option to “block” those accounts from showing in the first place, like the rest of the internet’

that sounds like you have a problem viewing the warehouse. this is a different one.

Batch upload is a feature for verified accounts (brands) that allows them to upload several models at once, reviewing them afterwards. instead of the classic one by one. it’s not a spammer feature. actually, were it available to everyone, it would definitively become a spam tool.

I guess our friend @authentage is in fact

I’ll ping @daniel_pidcock and @TheGuz , they’ll (maybe) know whom to call on this one.
I’ll also ping @Jake_from_SketchUp , he often answers in the warehouse section.

Some might be on vacation right now, but at least one of them should see this.
this is pure upload bug due to something.

have you tried uploading some models one by one ? if the upload works manually but not in batch, it could be something in the batch tool.

I see something in the error message, it has to do with the environments inside your file. can you open / check the “bad files” and make sure no environnement (especially skypartialcloud2sk) is active ?

not the first time I have brought this up, even made a post just for this and 100 people viewed and not one comment (so thank you for responding)

there are a few accounts that just post the same models over and over and many with nothing in the file

So just viewing new models is a chore going through pages and pages of the same models day after day’ (or whenever they decide to repost)

Simple way like most of the internet is to have an option to “mute” that user’ so you don’t see there models

Hey there. Thanks for sharing your concerns. We regularly ban spam accounts from the back end when there is an obvious violation of mass downloading/uploading. On the front end we rely on user-reporting to identify such accounts. As you might imagine, over 90% of abuse reports citing “spam” are just poor modeling practices by new users (we manually review every report) which is not a punishable offense. If you find an account that you believe is intentionally violating 3D Warehouse terms & conditions please flag the content and add a comment asking to review the entire account for whichever violation. I guarantee we will review it.

@ateliernab has made a good suggestion. I would recommend either turning off environments entirely and re-saving or changing the skypartialclouds2kiblenvironment to another environment that is not generating an error.

This is NOT the first time’ I have pointed it out’ just sent you two that just saw this morning like almost every time I go to warehouse.

Why not just have an “ignore” button like the rest of the internet / social sites’

so we don’t need to see the same models uploaded over and over again’

Hi,

I’ve indeed tried uploading them one by one. One by one it works indeed so think it’s a bug in the batch upload.

I’m indeed an organisation/company so no spam uploads here

here is a screen shot’ showing nothing’ and over and over again on the daily’

Aha, this appears to be an API issue. Thanks for pointing it out. We will reach out to the account owner to try and get it resolved.

there is another spam account’ uploaded today Aug/11/2026 and it already has 5 hearts lol

tried to post a link to a model, but doesn’t seem to show up’ but here in the main account page’

and ArchiUp.com account still uploading today’ and many with 0 file size

is this a joke ?

If you flag the model it will show up in our reporting system:
