Your forum profile doesn’t say what your grahics card is. Without that info, we can’t really tell you anything beyond what that message says.
It’s interesting that Windows has stopped your integrated GPU. I wonder what’s wrong with it. You might try doing a cold reboot of your computer.
And you are still using SketchUp 2017 Make?
I did the reboot, no joy
No not using 2017
You could consult this official help page from Microsoft to see if any of their solutions work for you.
What version are you using? Update your forum profile.
Keep in mind that GPU is ancient and won’t be suitable for current versions of SketchUp. Still you could go to the Intel site and get their latest drivers to install. Maybe that’ll help.
The problem I was having is because sketch up changed the graphic card requirements
No warning, so I had to go out and get a new computer, thanks
You mean between 2017 and 2024?
I mean in the last few days
They didn’t change anything as far as graphics card requirements in the last few days. They’ve always indicated that integrated graphics have not been recommended. A number of versions back they did change GPU requirements but not beyond what would have been commonly available at the time.
I took my computer to the computer guy and he said that sketchup changed the requirements.
SU is the only program that I’m having trouble with, something changed
Huh I just tried it again and now it is working, I tried to start SK half a dozen times yesterday with no luck, go figure
Did you install it correctly? That requires right clicking on the downloaded installer and selecting Run as administrator.
there hasn’t been an update in a month or two.
last time sketchup changed its requirements was when sketchup 2024 was released earlier this year. and they didn’t restrict requirements, they added extra infos.
