I’m having an issue where the entity info is being cutoff due to screen scaling. I prefer to use the native monitor resolution of 4k since it gives more drawing area and very crisp lines. Under Windows 10 display settings the scale factor is set at 150% (recommended). I can live with the smaller icons for my addons but the entity info box is really troubling since I can’t see all the data fields for selected objects. The other trays such as layers give the option to hover select the window to resize the box but the entity info does not have this option. I’ve tried selecting manage trays and unchecking/rechecking entity info to see if it would reset. I’ve also tried changing the scale factor in increments from 100%, 125%, 150%, 175% & 200%. With each scale factor the box will increase in size but is still cutoff. See attached image which is captured at 150%.
I’ve also restarted sketchup as well as rebooted windows multiple times at different scale factors and the problem persists. I can change my resolution to 1920x1080 and it works perfectly but I lose the crisp clarity of my drawing & fonts. System is Alienware 17 R4 with GTX 1080 dual display with dell U2718Q monitor.
I have the same problem. I temporarily fix it by setting my scale factor from 200% to 100% then opening Sketchup 2018 and then verifying the entity info box displays correctly. I then change my scale factor back to 200% and the entity info box seems to be OK. During this process I never sign out and sign in again. I am running a GTX 1070 with an ASUS 4k PB287 monitor. Also, I just updated windows 10 pro with the latest updates. Hope this helps for a real fix to this problem.
I am having this same issue, and @gillett001 response did work for me as well, but then the image quality of Sketchup seemed off a bit. I am using a Microsoft Surface Pro, Windows 10 Pro, Sketchup Pro 2019.
Rather than having to do this every time I open Sketchup, is there an actual fix to this?? Sketchup Troubleshoot.pdf (541.4 KB)
See this page: Requirements. Go to this section: High DPI Support
SketchUp is DPI aware and can adjust the sizes of Icons and drawing elements so they are sized correctly for High DPI screens. Icons are sized when SketchUp starts up. If you adjust your DPI or scaling (Microsoft Windows – but only up to 150%) you will need to restart SketchUp to see correctly sized Icons and drawing elements.
