I have a full license for SU 2018 PRO and need to migrate it to a new computer. I get the message the I am not connected to the internet, which obviously I am.
I contacted the help center, and got the standard answer that SU 2018 is no longer supported. Pretty crappy response considering that I did buy the product from them when it was new, so I should still be able to use it.
I downloaded 2018pro, but need to be able to get it activated with my valid license.

Well, you chose to buy a license and support for one year but that was at least 7 years ago. The terms clearly stated that after that period your access to support would end.
Be aware that the web interface uses a browser which Windows quit supporting a few years ago. So no security updates have been issued. None of the web services have supported SketchUp 2018 for years. So no 3D Warehouse, no Extension Warehouse, and no Geo-Location service.
