Hello - I have the most recent version of Sketchup for Mac installed and also have the most up to date version of Enscape. I am getting Enscape Freeze ups during modeling use, applying materials, lighting etc. It works for awhile then I can’t even get a Enscape window back up. Only way I am able to get out of it is get out of SU and Enscape and close them out and then reopen them. This does not seem to affect SketchUp. If I decide I don’t need Enscape I can keep working in SU. But it’s frustrating when trying to make changes and modifications in Enscape in real time.
Not sure if it’s related, but I was having issues with the latest version of Enscape loading my model. Some portions of the model would load and render and others would not. Turned out that for some reason the old Enscape assets I was using (people and trees) where not happy with the update. If I turned them off, then my entire model would show up and render properly. Deleting those and placing new Enscape assets works, but I had to pick different trees and people for them to show up. I suppose deleting, purging all components, then reinserting the assets might solve that problem.
If the problem isn’t what ArchyVR suggests, there was an overlays issue that we fixed, which solved similar problems in Thea and LightUp. That fix only went live today.
Try the SketchUp menu, Check for Update, and see if you can get 2024.0.2.
