DWG Import Error - lines become surfaces

Everytime I try to import a DWG or DXF from AutoCAD into SketchUp every single line comes in as a thin surface. This doesn’t happen when I import DWG or DXF files from Revit into Sketchup. Anybody know what the issue is?

It would help if you share the DWG or DXF file so we can look at it.

In Autocad select the lines and set the Thickness to 0.
