For your information, it is impossible to download the Sketchup file with Safari (Version 10.0 (12602.1.50.0.10)).
I had to go through Google Chrome.

We must assume you mean a bug in the MAC SketchUp installer when downloading via certain browsers…
It would be helpful to other readers if the original poster / and/or the seemingly helpful responder, explained the issue somewhat more clearly…
