Download models before it’s too late?

I think I read something on 3D Warehouse the other day that models that are made 2017 will not be able for people to download soon… Or maybe it said something completely different, I don’t remember and don’t remeber wher I read it.

Anyone know what I’m refering to?

I have SketchUp 2017 and started wondering… do I need to download models I wnt now before it’s too late if I upgrade, or what does a upgrade to the latest version cost? My economy is not the best.

I’m just confused (as you can tell).

Some things to point out: Existing models can still be downloaded in the formats that are automatically created, and in the format they were uploaded as. That should mean that most of the over 4 million models that are there already should continue to be available for 2017 users. Eventually there will be a point where you are looking for a model in the 3D Warehouse window, or in a browser, and now you find out that it’s a recent model that doesn’t have a 2017 conversion.
