Document set up>
Units> changed to fractional and feet to the nearest 1/64"
But after closing window and trying dimension tool it remains in meters.
I have closed and reopened Layout thrice. No solution as of yet.
Anyone?

Dimension units are set in Dimension Style. The units set in Document Setup are paper space used for move distance and border widths and such.
