Difference between sketchup and a 3D printing slicer, adding infilled

I want to cut a small hole straight through the model and in Sketchup it is working but in a slicer it is adding interior infill.

Why is the slicer saying the exterior rings are solid in the middle? How do I change this?

See photos. Thanks!

How about uploading the SKP file so we can see what you’ve got?

pt2:5.stl (3.1 MB)

Well, it looks like 200 internal faces were preventing it from being solid.

After cleaning up the model to make it report the component as solid, maybe it’ll work. Try it out in your slicer and see what you get.
