Is it possible to change the colour of Backup Files for future update issues. I hate it when I open a backup instead of the working file be it model or drawing (Sketchup or Layout).
Yellow would be excellent and a rations contrast from the corporate blue.
Cheers

If you want someone to see your reply, you can add the @ in front of their name and they will be notified they are mentioned by someone like I did in this post with your name.
You can add the @ in your post by clicking on the pencil icon under the postâŚ
Probably the simplest way would be to find any .skb file in File Explorer, Right click and choose Properties, In the Opens with box click the Change button and select Notepad and finish with Set Default.
Usually .skb files donât have a default set, you may have set it somehow in the past or it may have just happened. Setting it to open in Notepad will give you a distinctly different Icon and it wonât hurt to open with notepad if you do happen to double click it.
It is not easy to remove a file association in Windows 10,
Open Windows File Explorer
On the view Ribbon (tab) check the box marked âFile Name Extensionsâ
Close File Explorer
Right click your Desktop and choose New - Text File
Change the file extension on that new file from .txt to .exe
Confirm the change
Right click a .skb file, choose open with - Choose another App
Check the box marked âAlways use this app to open .skb filesâ - IMPORTANT!
Scroll to the bottom and click âMore Appsâ
Again scroll to the bottom and choose âFind another app on this PCâ
Navigate to the dummy file exe on your Desktop and click OK
The .skb file will not open
Delete the dummy exe file on your Desktop and restart your PC
The file association will then be broken and it will be back to None!
