Delete key not working in outliner of SU Pro 2022 anymore

On Win 10, SketchUp 2022, the delete key has no effect anymore, when highlighting an entry in the outliner and pressing “delete”.
In SketchUp 2021 it works as expected and the component/group is deleted.

It was reported a few weeks ago that the Outliner seems to eat all keyboard shortcuts, or otherwise cause many of them to be no-ops.
