SketchUp 2022: can't delete objects anymore from the Outliner without activating the viewport

Just gave the 2022 a spin and I noticed a bug. You can’t delete items directly anymore when selecting them in the Outliner. Only after you activate the viewport (for instance rotate the view) you can delete the selected objects. Really hoping this gets fixed…

Right-click on the group / component / element and erase

Thats ok but its 2 extra mouse click where you normally would just hit the delete-key.

I don’t use the outliner.

Issue is much larger than just the delete key - see this new topic SketchUp 2022 - all keyboard shortcuts don't work in SU2022 when the Outliner is the active window - update: fixed in 22.0.354
