Customizing Toolbars

An alternative, if you can’t wait until you can try it at home would be to go into use/AppData/Local/SketchUp/SketchUp 2024/SketchUp and delete the PrivatePreferences.json file. Then restart SketchUp. You’ll then need to reset all of your toolbars, though.

Update:

The missing DC toolbar was found on my home’s external monitor. I have rearranged my toolset to make sure it is docked.

I also reached out to Support and below was their response.

Thanks for reaching out to SketchUp Support!

I am happy to help you with your support request. Windows can do really weird things when you are switching between monitor setups. Many applications and not just SketchUp encounter this issue. The only surefire way to find the toolbar is to plug back into your home setup. Then, when switching between monitor setups, always turn off extended displays in display settings (found by right clicking on your desktop) before unplugging a monitor to ensure windows don’t get lost off screen."
