Custom trays disappear when LayOut crashes

Hello guys, this is an issue that happened to me today only, I never came across this

I was working in a document just fine, when LayOut crashed (kind of expectedly, it usually crashes when I’m dealing with arcs, I don’t know why, but happens every once in a while, so I’m kinda used to it). The issue was reopening LayOut, my custom toolbar and the trays that I had modified were gone, with the default tray showing in its location.

I had one custom .plo file in my recycle bin, from an issue I had sometime ago with LayOut crashing at opening, so i tried replacing it, but had no success. I know it isn’t that of an issue, since I can simply make those changes again, but I wanted to know if there is a way to restore those customisations instead of making them from scratch all over again.

Thanks in advance. I use SUPro 2021 and W11

Your forum profile says you are using “Free Plan” 2021. Does that mean you are using a cracked version?

Also, for another doubt, the .plo file is responsible for these type of configurations? I thought about the replacement since it is responsible for opening/starting LO

Sorry, it wasn’t updated.

There never has been a free version of SketchUp 2021.

Did you install SketchUp and LayOut correctly? That requires right clicking on the installer and selecting Run as administrator.

I meant my profile wasn’t updated. I used SU for Web a long time ago, so I chose that option for the profile. Today I use SUPro 2021

Yes, I did run the installer as administrator, and have been using LO for nearly 2 years, int this specific version, but never had this issue
