Hi everyone.
I assigned a keyboard shortcut for the “Text” tool. After I use it, the cursor won’t snap to anything. I try using any other tool, and the cursor will not snap. The only thing that fixes it is for me to close and re-open the file.
I’m attaching the file and a video of what happens for me.

hello, not able to reproduce here. is your profile correct (using 2023 ?) and what is the shortcut you assigned to the text tool ?
Hello, thank you for checking in. Yes this is the correct version of sketchup I’m using, the newer version doesn’t allow me to save down to 2017 which I need to be able to do. The shortcut I assigned to the text tool is Shift + J.
Can’t reproduce it with that shortcut either, at least with 2024 version (I don’t have 2023 installed to check out).
