It’s doing it again. For a problem known to SketchUp since 2018, it would be really great if they’d take this very real bug seriously. Is the Mac SketchUp market so small as to be insignificant? I’ve always felt like SketchUp was very Mac-like in a lot of ways centered on intuitiveness.
The thing with bugs is that if devs can’t reproduce them, they can’t fix them.
You say you’ve had it since 2018, I haven’t. And it seems not many people have. Could it be a specific parameter in your mac os ? Something cursor related, like a custom one ?
edit : also, is it known since 2018 ? I don’t see anything in the thread that indicates it. it seems it is known since june 2023
could it be triggered by an update, since it came and went ?
Google and you’ll find mentions of this problem dating back to 2018 in other threads. I first experienced it just a year ago.
I have seen this many times when you have other apps like Sonos or Spotify in the background running and another song is starting.
Started with version 2018.
Try turning of notifications for these apps.
I don’t have any of those apps. I’m an audiobook guy and listen with my iPhone and AirPods.
