I’m looking for an extension that will slice through multiple groups, components, and simple geometry in one operation. I have a floor in a building that I’d like subdivide into rooms and save as separate files to make their markup in Layout more manageable. I’ve tried intersecting geometry to create a division, solid tools, or simplifying by exploding all the individual groups, but each approach is time consuming and destructive.
I’ve played around with Fredo’s VisuHole but could not get it to work for my situation.
