With 2025 and 2026 I have been experiencing random occasional silent crashing of SketchUp.
SketchUp will crash once, twice, three times or more in a row before opening on the n-th time.
And it seems that others could be having crashing issues related to some of Curic’s plugins.
In the above thread I mention that Colin had said that many of my crashes were due to Curic Make 2D. I disabled that plugin but I still get the occasional crashing.
I have curic scale++ which, I believe, has been causing crashing on my prior very crash prone setup and still on my current setup. The curic extension will ignore disabling in the extension manager as well. I don’t remember about uninstalling. Curics support is also terrible and ghosted me on my 2nd and repeated contacts with them on a previous issue. It sucks because the plugin itself, I think is great and adds to my flow dramatically.
My current SKP setup is more crash prone then I ever recall in over a decade of usage but I don’t think it is only because of the curic extension.
Hello @curic4su – great that you have issued an update to Scale++ but what about some of your other plugins…?
