We have V-ray to render with but I can never get the lighting how I want it.
We do production of lighting fixtures, profiles with LED strips in it.
But to have a realistic effect the light has to come from it a certain way.
Have you ever tried something that?
To have a specific amount of light coming from the fixture in one or more directions?
De light output depending on the power of the LED strip and the semi translucent cover from the profile?
