can I copy things I have drawn so I can have the same item multiple times?
Yes, in many ways.
Within the model select the geometry then use the move tool with ctrl to create a copy, or many copies.
For use in another model create a component and save it to your personal library.

Once you move the item using control key modifier you can type xnumber and then press return to make 4 items more. You can also use /number to make copies between the original one and the last one, like this:
Making it a component (triple click on the item, right click Make Component) you can drag it as many as you want from your components windows, but remember all changes you make in one of them it will affect to the rest, if you want this doesn’t behave like this, right click on the component and choose make unique.
