Components that change between files?

I’m working with a team on a game, and I’m using SketchUp to design some of our assets. We’re looking for a way to do something similar to what Components already do, but between SketchUp files too. So if I make a certain environment with a building in it, but for some reason we have to rework the base model that’s in a separate file, the changes made to the original would translate to all other files using that asset. There’s a similar function integrated in Unreal Engine 4, but I was wondering if there’s a way to do that too in SketchUp. Thanks!

Hello, let say the building is a component, you can right click on it and choose “reload”. It will ask you a path to another skp file. It doesn’t even need to have the same name. That way you can work on a small part of the general file separately. Is it clear ?

Holy ■■■■ guys, that’s it. That’s exactly it, thanks so much!
