I’m trying to model my house using Sketchup.
I put the windows as components and performed modifications inside the components.
When I came back to my model, the windows haven’t changed. Can you help me with this ?
As I’m a beginner, I would also appreciate some advice from you.

What modification did you make to the window components? The windows are there but they are on the inside of the wall face. You could trace the windows with the Rectangle tool and then select and delete the faces over the windows.
It looks like you might do well to take some time to go through the fundmentals at learn.sketchup.com
