I have this problem, that suddenly occured out of nowhere. I have a main model where I store all of my building components. I have given all of my components an attribute (code) which corresponds with a number in our storage system.
Usually I can just give my components that number > select the component > save out. So when I generate a report I can just select that “Code” attributes from the list and add it to my report list. Now when I save out my component. That component no longer has my attribute, but when I open my Main Model, that component still has its attribute.
I haven’t done anything different than what I did before. Any ideas to what is happening? I am using Sketchup 2026, and I tried testing it on 2025. Still the problem persists.
