Sono una ragazza che studia restauro all’università ed ero curiosa di sapere se secondo voi era possibile usare questo programma per eseguire le mappature dello stato di conservazione di un’opera, sia in 2D (come per esempio per un affresco) sia in 3D (per fare la mappatura di una statua)

A SketchUp model is, primarily, made up up of 3D objects. While each surface or “face” is in 2D, you can combine faces together to make 3D objects (for example, cubes, buildings, museums, even statues).
You can also use the “Add Location” feature (by clicking the menu button in the top-left corner > Add Location…) to tell SketchUp where you want to place your model in the world.
