I can’t seem to project an aerial image from Placemaker because it’s actually tiled with hidden geometry. Is there a way to un-tile the textures into one, single projected texture, or some way to cope with it? Looking at a previous project, it didn’t look like the texture was tiled. If I converted them, I don’t remember what I did.
Instead of combining into a single texture, losing resolution, it is better to create the texture grid on the mesh/terrain and apply each tile separately (post).

Oh, I remember that video now. Yes, that’s precisely the problem. Sure is a lot of work. Are you just using the native pencil tool to bring down those tile edges? Is Sketch UV needed?
You could use Drape to print the tile edges (solid, not soft/smooth/hide) on the surface.
I used SketchUV to select the series of edges, but you can also use the native selection tool.

Oh, drape, yeah, that probably would be more efficient than what I just did: Create cutting planes and then Intersect Face with Context. Many thanks.
