Can't run sketchup on District network

Can someone tell me what I need to whitelist, so program can reach the internet.
I need to add our School Domain to be registered with sketchup:
Here is the domain for staff and students
@a2schools.org
@aaps.k12.mi.us
These domains are G-Suite accounts.

There are some things at our end that @CaseyG may be able to help with, but as for ports and whitelisting at your end, SketchUp uses these ports: 80, 8080, 443.

You could whitelist *sketchup.com, to at least let the SketchUp for Schools app load ok.

Thanks for the @ colin. I appreciate it as that is the best way to get my attention on the forums.

If you need me to add you to the database of approved domains, I am happy to work with you to do that. I normally need to know two things to get you added to the database. Those two things are the domain(s) themselves and verification you are a k-12 school.

After doing a little searching with the domains you listed I was able to locate everything I needed via your website so I was able to get you added to the database a few minutes ago. By the time this post is live, you will be all set to deploy the app and to start using SketchUp if you have not already done so. Just make sure not to skip any steps as you deploy the app as that can cause issues later on. Also, as you are using G-suite, make sure to deploy the app via a super admin.

Hopefully that is all you need to do to get up and running. I also hope you and your students enjoy using SketchUp as much as I do!

I’m still getting the “you are offline” error. here is a pic of the error.

The device is getting online to the internet in Google chrome.
Domain:
@a2schools.org
@aaps.k12.mi.us

Hi @mayhand, thanks for the post. I can’t quite tell from your screenshot but it looks kind of like you are trying to run the desktop app. Is that accurate?

Bing.com needs to be available

Yes, that is correct.

Ah, that would explain a lot @mayhand. The desktop version does have some requirements that differ from the SketchUp for Schools version. As you posted in SketchUp for Schools and indicated you are a k-12 school or district, I had assumed that you needed access to our SketchUp for Schools database.

If you have a license for the desktop version, you can reach out to tech support via the reseller partner you used to purchase the license for help getting things up and running. If you purchased it directly from us, you can access support from our support page on the main SketchUp site.

If you don’t have a license for the Pro version and need to get SketchUp for Schools running, that is a different process and will require you to deploy the app via either the Microsoft or Google app store for your domain via an admin account or super admin if you are using Google.

Please let me know how you would like to proceed (Pro support or SketchUp for Schools) and I can help you get the process started.
