Can't orbit around drawing as usual with mouse

Press middle mouse button as usual to rotate model with no effect. It does engage a selection box but nothing else.

What kind of mouse? To what is the center mouse button assigned?

Logitech m705 out of the box…factory settings

Set the Center Mouse Button to Middle Button.
