Can't insert dimensions in Sketchup for Schools

For example: When I am using the rectangle tool and I want to enter the dimensions in the dimension box (right bottom corner) I normally enter the value and the format seperated by a comma: for instance: 4m,6m.

Since this week this isnt working any more, because when I enter the “m” the Move-tool is getting selected. When I want to enter 40cm, the Circle tool is selected when entering the “c”. It looks like the shotkeys are actived when trying to type in the dimensions of a plane.

How can this be solved

The issue is reported many times in the forum already. They are working on it…

Check your keyboard settings and make sure that English (US) with Extended keyboard (not International) is selected. If International settings are selected the shortcuts are triggered.

Another solution could be to set your units to metres, then you don’t need to enter the ‘m’ at all.
