This slab is difficult as it slopes into a sump (a square too make it easiar) in all ways. I was able to fill some but the areas highlighted in red I was not able to fill (the bottom of the slabCan anyone tell me why? I have attached my skp.

If you draw diagonals and create triangles, those hole will close and the faces will be created. But what is the goal, how do you use that 3D model?

Im struggling to fill in trapeziums and polygons especially angled ones. Is there a easier way to force fill shapes?

Learning the basics would probably simplify things for you.
Understanding that faces, and therefore slopes and curves, are made of planar faces.
So the most basic of planar faces is a triangle.

I’ve used From Contours in the Sandbox tool before, on areas such as this.
There are numerous ways to fill in those areas but From Contours is quick and easy.
