I have a problem that has been going on for more than a year and with more than one version of the program.
I don’t remember exactly which version it started with, but for several years now, it has been moving from revision to revision of the program.
The problem is that I can’t change some
hotkeys in settings. Rather, I change them, but when the program is restarted, the hotkey settings that I once, a few years ago, set in earlier versions of the program are returned.
Which ones specifically? There are some that are hard coded in the operating system. Those you cannot change permanently. Examples are Ctrl+Z, Ctrl+X, Ctrl+C, Ctrl+V… If you assign those hard coded shortcuts to SketchUp functions they will work until you quit SketchUp and the operating system takes them back.
No, the combinations that I assign earlier was CTRL+SHIFT+E, CTRL+SHIFT+W for “Zoom extend” and now I can’t change them.
