I will start a class tomorrow in sketch up pro 2024 and i have a license i got from my school. my problem is that i can’t even see the square in sketch up where i am supposed to be able to add serial code and so on. and i have reinstalled the program 3 times and turned of my anti virus just in case+ run it as administrator and both me and my teacher dont know what to do and why it wont work for me Dx so if anyone could help me it would be amazing!
What version of Sketchup are you actually using? Your profile says SketchUp for Schools which is a web-based version for school children. Is that what you are trying to use?

Ohh i use sketch up 2024 , and use a license the school gave me (or trying to)

So you are using SketchUp Pro or Studio, not SketchUp for Schools. Please correct your forum profile.
Maybe @colin can shed some light on the blank Classic License field. For most users they would have a subscription license which would be added under the other option on your screen.
I managed to update my profile since i am supposed to use sketch up pro, that was my misstake.
Hopefully i changed it correctly so i display the right information now

One thing you might do while waiting is repair the installation of SketchUp on your computer. Close any open SketchUp windows and do a power-off reboot of your computer. Then find the installer in your Downloads folder. Right click on it, choose Run as administrator and then, when given the option, choose Repair. After that do another power-off reboot of your computer. Once it has started again, try opening SketchUp and see if you can add your license information.
Out of curiosity, does the license show as “Business Edition” or something like that?
I will try all that while waiting, and the only information i have on my license from my school is the serial number, authorization code and when it expires so i dont think it is a busniess edition (as far as i know)

Well, at least SketchUp is now installed correctly. Is there a firewall perhaps blocking access? Are you at school using their internet access right now?
I’m studying from home, and i made sure to turn of my antivirus when repairing+ starting the program again as admin just in case.
The program really seems to hate me and does not want me to start learning it tomorrow in class xD
Hopefull Colin will be along and have some advice for you soon.
I’m sure SketchUp isn’t really out to get you.

I managed to make it work!!
So i have been able to add my school license to the program now. It was coz the program wanted to add swedish when installing and coz of that the box to add license thingy did not show (i think)
When i unchecked the box for swedish and only had english it worked

It’s good that you got that sorted but it’s odd that the language choice would have anything to do with it.
yea, i think it’s odd as well but i am so happy i got it to work so i didn’t miss anything in class today

I have the same problem, with trying to enter my classic license code on SketchUp Pro 2024. The page is just blank, with no way to type etc.
Is this a license supplied by a school?
What language pack are you using?
The code is supplied by the school, but they ordered us to download the Sketchup Pro 2024. By language pack, do you mean what language I use on my operating system?
