Can't access my models, black screen or says I'm not licenced when I have a pro subscription

Hi I have the same Macbook Air M3 as above and am having endless troubles with my models. Some don’t open at all saying I’m not licensed even though I am subscribed to Sketchup Pro. Other models come up with a black screen and other models crash as soon as I try to apply a texture.

that’s odd, I just checked and I can get a sub online despite no being in the US. where are you located ? (country) so, if you have annual go and you buy annual pro, it’ll be at a lower price. you’re paying for the difference but only for the remaining month before your renewal. apparently, monthly is separate from this. you can’t downgrade from an annual to a monthly. nah, considering you got the go plan less than 2 weeks ago, it’s sound. did you allocate it to yourself ? when buying a…

it’s supposed to be allocated to you by default, but sometimes people untick the option during checkout. then you have to re-allocate it manually to yourself

SketchUp (desktop version) thinks you don’t have an Internet connection - Technical Problems / Known Issues - SketchUp Community

You can try switching to the Classic Graphics engine via the Preferences dialog if you are running a recent release of SketchUp.

If you are running an old version of SketchUp, you might try a newer version 2024 or 2025 and take the new graphics engine for a spin.

The 2018 issue about not seeing Internet is different to the message saying you’re not licensed. The not licensed one can happen if you have deauthorized all devices. Any SketchUp that was still open might show that message. Signing out and in again should make it know that you are licensed.
