Cannot login to Sketchup Pro 2025

I renewed my annual license, confirmed by email from Trimble. When I launch Sketchup Pro on desktop it takes me to Sketchup login on the web, I login and it shows that I have an annual subscription. However, the start-up screen on my desktop tells me that my license is expired and tells me I need to purchase Sketchup Pro. I can’t figure out how to get it to recognize that I have an annual subscription.
I have to say, the Sketchup account management is HORRIBLE. I have so many issues with it. It’s like it was thrown together based on other Trimble products and is not at all logical or user friendly. On days like today (a weekend of course) I need to get into Sketchup Pro and I can’t. And it’s unlikely anyone will respond until Monday…

Did you try deauthorizing all ?

By the way, the status page shows there is investigation of a problem in process:

I don’t know what deauthorizing is. I’ll have to look that up…
I did submit this problem to help. I’d just like to fix it sooner than later.

See this recent post by me:

Problems with sign in every time, very frustrated - #6 by DanRathbun

And BTW, after buying a subscription, I think you need to assign the subscription to a user (yourself) in the account portal.

Found another help page where someone had the same problem. I had to go into Members Section, and select “Modify Product Access”, and give myself access to Sketchup Pro. And now it works. Like I said in original post, the subscription/renewal/authorization process for Sketchup is ridiculously inane. I use SUP occasionally and it seems that it forgets you if you aren’t on regularly.

Agreed. Stupidly convoluted.
