Brighter 3D & Sketchup 2024

Does anyone have experience with Brighter 3D and Sketchup 2024 with Win 10 AMD Ryzen 5?

Any reason you haven’t upgraded to 2026?

Well, the reason is that 2024 is completely fine for my needs, and I’m not one of those who immediately buys, for example, a new phone because the name is XX39 and mine is XX38 :). For this reason, I’m not even trying to switch to Win 11 and I’m still using Win 10. But that’s not the topic of my question.

In think the chance of finding someone with the same configuration will be slim..

Most of us are on Win11 and for a reason. Microsoft stopped support and security updates for win10 last month.

Fair, but you don’t need to ā€˜buy’ a new version, just download, sign in and start using it. There is no social pressure here to have the latest and greatest, but there have been improvements to the graphics engine, materials and other things that make 26 (for me) work way better.

Why don’t you download the trial and give it a test drive?

Security updates, what do I need them for.. I don’t dig through internet garbage and why then have protection and against what. You seem to be a Microsoft representative. Sorry but I couldn’t resist :))

For what I use 2024 and what I get, it’s completely sufficient for me, and by the way, I tried the new version and I don’t get anything new or spectacular, so I’m sticking with 2024.

So, as the main topic says, the Brighter 3D extension, and this has slowly turned into a fight over Win and SU versions, which was not my intention, so if anyone has any experience with Brighter 3D and AMD Ryzen 5 to share, it would be welcome.

As above.

Are you using a cr acked version?

By the way, I use Twilight render Pro which only works in SU 2024 version.

I think that’s a bit of a naive thought these days but do your thing. I was just trying to be helpful..

Well, the question was about Brighter 3D render. Does anyone have any experience with it to share with other users?

Try doing a search for ā€œBrighter 3Dā€ in the forums search bar. It showed a fair number of posts about the software.

So are you using a cr acked version?

I just tested the latest version of Brightrer 3D with sketchup 2026 and it works fine, I don’t think the problem is related to hardware, if the problem was your processor you’ll be having a lot more issues.

I didn’t actually see him mention that he is having any issues, just asking if anyone has used it with 2024.
If he mentioned problems we may have offered a solution.
