I downloaded a model from the 3D Warehouse, but the bounding box (not sure if that is the right term) is huge. Is there any way to shrink it without scaling the model? I will see if I can attach a screenshot. Thanks.
Turn on Hidden Geometry and Hidden Objects and make sure all tags are set to be visible. Look to see what else was included in the model. It could be very tiny line segments so open the component for editing, select the motorhome, go to Edit and click Invert Selection. Then hit Delete.
That was it. The model had a large Google Maps layer that was hidden in Tags. Got it to delete and the bound box is normal now. Thanks.
Good deal. Now go to Window>Model Info>Statistics and click Purge Unused.
