BoolTools license not recognized. Cannot add it back

My license for Bool Tools has disappeared (2025 gremlin?). Now When opening the extension I get a message that no license can be found, and if I choose to add license a pop up window appears but remains blank, empty. Bevel from the same studio still works. I have my license key and could re enter it, but don’t see a way to do so if the add license window stays blank. I have reinstalled the extension, no change. I am online, I tried support though the developer website but I needed to have an account to send a support email.

Is this happening to anyone else with BoolTools installed?

I had this problem a year or so ago. I disrmember the solution but @Whaat will be able to give you guidance. You might contact Mind Sight Studios directly.

It’s working for me on macOS 15.2. I don’t recall having a license issue…

This wasn’t specific to the operating system. Not truly a license issue, either.

I got it fixed, I should have tried a bit harder to begin with. I was going to contact support at mindsight but was trying to avoid having to make an account which is required, anyway once I went through the process of making an account and confirming it, I found an option to “reset license” from the website so I tried it. When returning to sketchup the add license window then opened not blank but with the options to input license key. Not sure why in happened or how that fixed it but I"ll leave this up to help others in the same problem.

Glad you got it fixed. Evidently not the same issue I had since I’ve had an account for more than a decade.

Sorry about this! There was an issue with our license server but it has been resolved now.

Ahh. So my resetting the license was a coincidence and a red herring. Thanks for getting it fixed and for the excellent extensions.
