Thanks, I think the same thing until I see some of the stuff people out there make. I put a lot of time into making greebles but I still have a lot to learn lol.
The animation was made with a plugin called [Animator], I used kinematic constraints to get it to work. Animator is finicky for the horrific trials I put it through but it’s very impressive for a free extension.
But in other news it’s that time of year again: “March of robots” where you make a robot everyday for the month of March (really just using it as an excuse to cut loose and make stuff)
Might not be able to make all of them again, but the goal is more than last year (13)
-went ahead and threw together a kitbash set to maybe help things along
“Darkness”: Exposed bonfires will occasionally attract shadow automations from the darkness; although they are not considered a threat, many find their presence to be an annoyance
“Power”: A bot that charges and installs batteries for other bots
@DevineUsually 4 days per week of “off” days where it’s just a few hours of farm work, which really feels like not enough so I’m compelled to speedrun things when I find that time. Honestly shouldn’t have sunk the last two stable 4 day cycles into single projects, so this last cycle is a catch up game.
Didn’t get quite as many as I’d like for MOR since life and things, but it’s motivating knowing grit isn’t a finite resource anymore. Just need to apply it to the big stuff now
One of my siblings in cross country said to make something that runs fast, and I’m still in robot mode so I couldn’t resist. (also wanted a reason to make a humanoid mecha for the first time)
