Now there’s another way to get great-looking PDFs from SketchUp Pro.
PrettyPrint takes SketchUp Pro’s PDF export and pretties it up three ways:
- Sets the line thickness, color and stroke shape, based on the line’s color in SketchUp. Yes, multiple line styles in the same PDF.
- Joins sequences of lines, such as shape outlines, so that they form continuous “polylines” with joint styles you specify. Finally get those sharp box corners.
- Scales SketchUp’s dashed line patterns to get them looking just right.
PrettyPrint may not replace Layout, but it can handle large, complex files that Layout can’t, with precise control of scale and sheet size. CAD quality output without CAD.
