Alien object on LayOut window

Does anyone have any idea what these alien objects are that are turning up in my layout file.
they are not in the sketchy up. the same marks appear on different pages that have different page references. I work with Sketchup pro 2018 and have a MacBook Pro 2019 2.3 GHz 8-Core Intel Core i9. 16 GB 2400 MHz DDR4 - graphics Radeon Pro 560X 4 GB

Intel UHD Graphics 630 1536 MB

Can you share the LO file? You could send it via private message if you can’t make it public.

Hi Dave, yes I will send you in a pm
thanks

Its too big

Upload it to Drop Box and share the link.

As somewhat of a resolution to this thread, I saw the “aliens” when I first opened the file on my PC. Poking at the viewports made them go away. I’ve seen this before but it’s been a long time. Not sure if it’s an OS related thing or related to the graphics card in play. The only common things I’ve identified is the author was using a Mac and I was looking at their LO file on my Windows machine.

Were you abducted?

I regularly see artifacts on my Mac in LayOut, when zooming, they disappear, though.
As if the graphic memory is poluted.

No. Fortunately not.

I’ve wondered about that although it’s odd that the artifacts show up when I first open the file on my computer and then go away later.
